* Fill up the balloon with water (you heard right – water).
* Secure the top part of the balloon.
* Melt the wax in an electric skillet, sauce pan, or a double-boiler (be sure skillet or sauce pan is an old one).
* Keep temperature near 165 to 185 and allow the wax to fully melt.
* Let cool until almost firm.
* Put the water balloon in the wax, quickly pull it out, then allow the wax layer to set.
* Repeat dipping and cooling process until you have about 1 cm of wax around the balloon.
* Pop balloon and remove from center of candle.
* Pour warm wax slowly inside the balloon shell and roll the shell around constantly until the interior is full.
* Position the wick in the center before pouring the final warm wax to allow the wax to surround the wick.
* Allow the wax to cool to support the wick before you release it.
