I Am Stuck With An Eco Wedding
Apparently these things do actually exist and when looking into the subject I was so baffled I had to research into it further. Of course it does stop here these weddings go further than eco bathroom accessories.
The first thing that came into her head was the wedding dress. I couldnt quite see how a dress made of recycled stuff could be the best dress you will ever wear. The thing is I did ask her why all of this was so important to her and I simply got the answer *you really wouldn’t understand”. Onto the subject, you can now find designers for wedding dresses who only source in organic, fair-trade or natural materials. This basically means that no harmful chemicals are used in the process of making the dress. The bill for the dress is certainly going to be a lot higher than what I would normally have to pay.
Another thing that she is insisting on is that her jewellery for the day is made from recycled products and that her hair stylist uses organic goods only. This to me is taking it to the extreme but yet it goes even further!
It is perhaps being taken too far with the added guestbooks and photo albums all being made out of recycled paper and card. She is also insisting that the food for the big day is all sourced locally, I should really learn how to put my foot down.
Just to add the icing on the cake (for my bill) the cake was made from free range eggs as well as organic and fair-trade ingredients. I suppose it doesnt matter what kind of materials I am using as I should be glad that I am getting married at all.
Of course it isn’t to stop on the wedding day, oh no once we move into our new place the new wife wants eco kitchen accessories as well as Vases yes she really is taking it this far.
