The ClearBlue Fertility Monitor Gives Peace Of Mind
The Fertility Monitor ClearBlue is a fertility aid meant for use by individuals trying to conceive. This monitor is made by Clear Blue Easy and retails at around the $150 mark. In order to operate the monitor you will also need to purchase the sticks which you should be able to pick up for around $40. The machine actually saves your information and tracks not only your period but your ovulation cycle as well. The monitor is for single use by one person and should not be re-sold once it has served its purpose.
If you plan on using the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor it is best to wait till after your period is over. When you get your period, its important to set the date for the first day of your period and then enter in the time you wish to be tested everyday. Since the monitor requires you to test daily you will need to turn it on at the correct time every day. The monitor will inform you when to urinate on the stick before placing it into the machine based around where your up to in your cycle. There is an indicator on screen which will indicate where you are in your fertility cycle. The goal is for the monitor to calculate your peak fertility days so that you can achieve pregnancy.
One of the main problems with the monitor is that the person buying it is someone having problems conceiving. Regrettably, the actual fertility monitor is not for anyone taking fertility medication known as Clomid or anyone with Poly-Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. PCOS is one of the main causes of infertility in women. Clomid the fertiltiy medication is perhaps one of the most prescribed medications on the market. Many females who are experiencing irregular cycles are not actually ovulating. As most of these women are not ovulating they will never get accurate peak days of fertility. These women will not receive the full benefits of the fertility monitor.
The monitor is an excellent device for those couples with no fertility issues who want to get pregnant quickly. One thing you could try before the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor would be family planning methods, Billings method or basal body temperature montoring. If you have exhausted all these methods then it may be time ot see a doctor to find out if there is a health issue stopping the conception. If the male partner is having fertility issues then the fertility monitor will not be of any use.
The monitor is effective for particular couples. For anyone not experiencing results with methods like ovulation predictors or basal body temperature charting then it may be a good idea to talk to your physician about testing before trying the monitor. Consult your family physician as they will be able to further discuss the ClearBlue Fertility Monitor and your options.
