The Logical Weight Loss Program

Are you looking into the different ways that can help you to lose weight? Have you tried a number of different diets in the past but still find yourself being overweight? Are you fed up with being fat? Do you yearn the day when you can buy the type of clothes that you really want? If you have answered yes to any of these questions then this article could well prove to be of benefit to you.

I am somebody who until a few years ago would have answered yes to all of the above questions. I had tried many forms of diet, I would buy clothes that suited my size rather than the clothes I actually wanted to wear. I was without doubt fed up with being fat and was desperate to find a way of losing weight which would last.

I am by no means involved with weight loss in my career; I do in fact work in the DVD duplication serviceCurrys Voucher Codes and cost reduction specialists sectors.

In my opinion the answer to all of weight problems was quite simple. I do not need any fancy diet, what I needed to do was to think in a logical way. I first of all had to ask myself a number of questions:

Question. Why are you overweight?

Answer: I eat far too much food and drink far too much alcohol. You may or may not be shocked to find out that my favourite foods and the one’s that I eat on a regular basis include chocolate, crisps, peanuts and take-out meals. I also do very little exercise, therefore I do not give my body a chance to burn off some of this fat. I have to admit that I rarely walk anywhere these days; I guess my excuse is the fact that I am always busy and that for this reason I tend to use the car.

Question. Why have you been unsuccessful with your past dieting attempts?

Answer: I did not really follow the program. I may have done for the short term but certainly did not over the longer term. I also gave into temptations by eating food types which I was not really supposed to.

Question. How much do you want to lose this excess weight?

Answer. A huge amount.

Question. So why do you not follow the dieting programs to the letter?

Answer. I am weak, I suppose.

As you can see, the answers to my weight issues are in the answers to these questions. It was fairly obvious that I had to:

Have far more discipline

Be more determined

Be stronger

Walk and exercise a lot more

Eat far healthier foods

Cut down my intake of alcohol

Make sure that you continue with the above for a sustained period of time

A couple of years ago I started to implement my new logical form of diet and I am happy to report that I am now at a size that I am happy with.

Stress Management Tips

There are many reasons why children can start to have nightmares. I have two children, both of whom at various stages of their lives wake up crying and upset.

My young son started to have nightmares after watching the film Lord Of The Rings. He really enjoyed watching the film and wanted to watch it on a regular basis and would even re-inact the battles. The film itself is quite long and he would normally be watching it by himself as his mother and I would be busy doing other things.

I thought about why he may have started to have these type of dreams and believed it was due to this film. I then made a point of watching it with him and kept on reassuring him that the people have not actually died and that they were only acting. I even made a point of laughing at some of the more gruesome scenes and by making comments like, as if that would ever happen.

Children who stress

My daughter at one point started to stress because she was not in any of the top groups in the different subjects she was taking at school. She felt like she was a failure and that we would not be proud of her. I advised her that we knew she was giving it her all at school and that as long as she continued to try her best that we would always be proud of her. But it is a bit like where I work at a company selling composite doors, we can not all be the chairman After all not every child can be in these top sets.

She did have a real issue to stress about – stuttering. She started to stutter at the age of three and it had a bad impact on her overall self-confidence. I searched high and low for ways to help her to stop stuttering and I am pleased to report that she has now managed to achieve fluency. She is now working as business cost reduction specialist.

I am confident that with the right motivation that other people will also be able to learn how to achieve fluency.

The Speech Course For Stuttering

A recent report has suggested that around 1% of the UK adult population has a stammer/stutter. Within the paragraphs of this article I will be writing about the way in which I managed to overcome my own speech impediment.

When I had a stutter, I used to be afraid of certain words beginning with certain letters. Words which began with “b” were especially hard to say. I also had problems with d, v, g, and p words. I would avoid these words and also try to find alternative words to say. I did avoid words on a daily basis but my lifetime goal was always to find a way to stop stuttering/stammering.

When seeing for a example an employment vacancy I would immediately think negatively about my chances of getting the position; my speech would bound to stop me is what I would say to myself.

As a young adult, aged around 16 or 17 I began to drink alcohol and boy did it make me feel good. From a person who had a real lack of confidence I now was able to be the type of person that I always wanted to be – somebody who had confidence. I now had no fear and was also able to talk superbly. Now I am not saying that you should all be in a permanent drunken state, however this showed me not only was I able to talk well but that the stammer must not only be a physical impediment but also physcological.

There are many forms of stutter treatments out there including traditional speech therapy, group speech courses, a one to one stammering course and even hypnotherapy. I personally believe that the way to go is one to one speech courses as every person who has a stutter is an individual and has an individual stutter.

Steve Hill now runs The How To Stop Stuttering Centre where he offers a one-to-one intensive speech therapy course as well as a self help DVD and a self help stuttering therapy e-book.
