The Symptoms Of A Panic Attack
Why do some people suffer from panic attacks? Have you ever had a panic attack? What can be done to stop people from having a panic attack in the first place? What does it feel like to have a panic attack? Any person who has had a panic attack will tell you that it can be an extremely frightening experience to have such an attack, some would even state that they thought they were going to die. In this article I will be writing about the reasons some people suffer from panic attacks.
I would like to make one thing clear before I continue; I am not involved within this business sector and I am not attempting to sell you anything here. I am actually some one who provides Marks and Spencer Voucher Codes. I also have a minor role within a company offering DVD authoring and also with a firm offering advice on becoming a foster carer.
Any one person can cope with a certain amount of problems, pressures and worries, each person is different therefore there is no one particular set amount. These worries come and go as we tend to deal with each one in turn. You could try and imagine all of these issues on a conveyor belt; they join the belt and then disappear after a few times around the conveyor.
For people who find it harder to deal with their problems their issues will remain on the conveyor belt for longer. During times of great stress, perhaps a marriage break up, a death in the family, financial stress or health problems, the conveyor belt can become too full. These are things which are quite damaging to the brain and some where along the way something has to give. At times this can lead to the onset of a panic attack.
It is very easy to advise people to think in a more positive manner and to not let all the events get the better of them, to put this advice into practice is the difficult part as everything can quite easily get on top of you.
There is no disgrace in having a panic attack; in fact I am sure that you will be amazed at just how many people suffer from them. Do not feel ashamed, instead seek help from a counsellor as soon as possible, they should be able to find a solution to these annoying and scary panic attacks.
How To Deal With Emotional Health Problems Including Insomnia
At times people start becoming anxious about their future or even about their present situation. This can in certain cases even lead on to panic attacks.
In my opinion worrying does not help the situation, it only makes things worse. Well it certainly made things worse when I had a stutter – the more I worried, the worse the the stuttering became. I was desperate to find a way that could help me to stop stuttering as I knew this would help me to gain in confidence and have a better quality of life.
Insomnia
Having trouble with sleeping at night can happen for a number of reasons, the main one of which is stress. Other causes are snoring, an intake of too much caffeine, a noisy environment or depression.
Irritability
When people lose sleep or work to hard they can become over tired and this can lead to irritability. This can cause people to have a higher pulse rate, making their muscles feel tight and can leave people also feeling anxious and lethargic.
It is important to therefore ensure that you obtain a good amount of hours sleep per night (at least seven)and that you only work a certain amount of hours per week. Money is important to people, however in my opinion health should be the priority. I found myself working too hard at one stage for a company which sold composite front doors; this soon started to affect my sleep before I finally realised the mistake that I was making.
Solutions to these emotional health problems
I have come to realise that I need to treat myself from time to time. I was once described by a good friend as a “stress head” and this certainly would have been a good way to sum me up back then.
I now use various methods at different times of the year to help me to chill out a bit and to reward my body. These include reflexology, meditation, yoga, aromatherapy and tai chi. I must admit I could never get to grips with Yoga, however have heard it can prove to be very beneficial to people who can.
I am now a far more content, happier person and as a career now work in the jobs in foster care industry. I am sure that other people can also become more self-fulfilled with the help of alternative therapies and additional sleep.
Do You Have Problems With Getting Your Kids To Go To Bed?
Some children even though they know that they are tired, do not want to miss out on any of the action or excitement. They want to spend as much time with mom and dad as possible. I even heard one particular day the children discussing how unfair it is that they have to go to be before me and their mother – rather crazy some might say lol. These types of children will want to disrupt and even avoid going to bed at all cost.
When I was a child I had a speech impediment known as stuttering. I was desperate to find out how to stop stammering and was aware that I would stutter more if I had had a lack of sleep the night before.
I myself have two young children and have been through this experience myself. The step-daughter is a person who requires a certain amount of sleep to ensure that she performs to her optimum on the next day – she can also become rather fractious if she has had a lack of sleep. As a parent it can become very frustrating as well as upsetting when you see your child crying because they do not want to go to bed. Comments like, please dad just one more program on the television, were far too regular, and at times I felt like backing down.
I have now learnt via reading many books on parenting, how to best deal with this situation. Each child now has a set time when they have to be in bed by. This is a time that they have both agreed to!
They get changed into their pyjamas around half an hour before this time, and then can either spend that period of time playing with their toys or watching the television. If they want to play, we ensure that the games are relaxing ones and not too energetic.
You may well be wondering why I am so eager to get my kids to bed. Well it is because I need my own rest other wise I am a moody person at work the next day where I sell external doors as well as cheap hotel deals on a part time basis.
If there is a program that is on later than their agreed bedtimes, I agree to video it for them, this way they know that they are not missing out etc.
I have agreed that I will read them a story at bedtime. Both children have stated how much they enjoy this and it certainly helps them to chill out. They are also given a drink to go to bed with, therefore there is no need for them to keep coming downstairs. This drink is always a juice and should not be fizzy.
